THE WAVERIDERS CLUB IS A FUN AND COMPLIMENTARY PROGRAM DESIGNED ESPECIALLY FOR KID’S AGES 7 & UP WHO ARE NOT READY TO START ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT.

Sometimes early treatment is necessary, however if your child is not quite ready then they
will get to be part of the Waveriders Club. This club will help parents keep track of their child’s jaw growth and development. Members will receive complimentary exams, which includes x-rays. With consistent monitoring at a younger age, Dr. Hassey is able to track the growth and development of these kiddos and develop plans for treatment as needed. By utilizing early monitoring, some often overlooked issues can be documented and treated if necessary.

WHAT IS DR HASSEY LOOKING FOR?

• A balanced facial appearance.
• Early or late loss of baby teeth.
• Dental overcrowding or spacing which could hinder or affect permanent tooth development or position.
• Harmful habits that may cause orthodontic problems (finger/thumb sucking).
• Position of baby and permanent teeth.
•Mouth breathing.
•Oral hygiene and overall dental health.
•Teeth at risk for injury or decay due to protrusion or overcrowding.

BENEFITS OF JOINING OUR WAVERIDERS CLUB

We will work hand-in-hand with your dentists
to help provide you with the best orthodontic care. We will notify them of our findings and recommendations made during visits. We will see our Waveriders every 6, 9, and/or 12 months to observe their progress as they grow. We will track their age and height, grade their brushing, count their baby teeth, document our findings and any achievements in our cool Waveriders Journal.

Appointments will be informative and fun! There is no fee for this program, and it helps Dr Hassey determine the optimum time to begin treatment and achieve the best possible result. Your little Waverider will love coming to see us!
