Meet Dr. Hassey
Dr. Hassey is a board-certified orthodontist whose academic and clinical credentials place him among the most highly qualified orthodontic specialists in the region. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from NYU School of Dentistry in New York, graduating at the top of his class with honors. Following his dental degree, Dr. Hassey completed a one-year general practice residency in advanced cosmetic dentistry at the University of Nevada’s School of Medicine before choosing to specialize in orthodontics.
He returned to New York to earn his Orthodontic Specialty Certificate from the prestigious Albert Einstein College of Medicine — one of the most respected orthodontic programs in the country. Dr. Hassey has also achieved board certification with the American Board of Orthodontists, the highest distinction attainable in the specialty of orthodontics. This certification reflects his ongoing commitment to clinical excellence and his dedication to providing patients with the highest standard of care.
After building his career in New York, Dr. Hassey returned to his roots in Southern California to raise his family and serve his community. He is honored to practice in Carlsbad alongside his wife Hollie and their four children, Jonathan, Ava, Matthew, and Julia. Dr. Hassey brings the same warmth and care he puts into family life into every patient relationship at Camino Real Orthodontics.
